Blanketed by the Chill of Grief-Hope Brings Encouragement  was the second painting in the mini series. Grief can bring such a heaviness,and the body can actually be chilled by its weight on the heart. The spec of a red cardinal brings the idea of hope. Just seeing a cardial on a very cold snowy day up lifts the heart and bring encouragement and hope for the days ahead. God is my hope and he has taken me through many years of grief.
